Summer Reading Challenge

The Summer Reading Challenge 2021 ‘Wild World Heroes’ – 10th July to 5th September 2021

This year the Reading Agency has teamed up with WWF for a unique nature-themed Challenge that will inspire you to stand up for the planet.

Get ready for Wild World Heroes, arriving online and in the library on 10th July!

Children can read whatever they like in their chosen format – to complete the Challenge; you can read or listen to fiction, fact books, poetry, joke books, picture books, graphic novels, audiobooks and eBooks.

Each time they finish a book, there are special rewards, and there’s a certificate for everyone who completes the Challenge.

The Summer Reading Challenge is open to all reading abilities in primary school-aged children.

Children can sign up for free at the library during the summer holidays.
