Archaeology & More – A Celebration of the Quantock Landscape Partnership Scheme
Our speaker for this month is Dan Broadbent, the Quantock Landscape Partnership Scheme Historic Heritage Officer.
This evening, visitors will have the opportunity to view a pop-up exhibition celebrating the varied work of the Quantock Landscape Partnership Scheme over the last five years, including projects aimed at preserving wildlife and heritage and promoting community engagement.
Historic Heritage Officer Dan Broadbent will also present results from recent archaeology projects on the Quantocks, including excavations of two Bronze Age enclosures and a Dark Age cemetery, along with findings of the Test-Pitting project in Nether Stowey.
There will also be a chance to view and handle archaeological finds from previous QLPS excavations.
Entrance fees are for members, £3.50 and for non-members, £4.50.
