Discover Your Family History
Would you like to find out more about your family history?
Curious about where you come from or eager to uncover the stories of your ancestors?
Join local resident Richard at the Thomas Poole Library for friendly, hands-on support with exploring your family history.
Meeting every second Wednesday of the month from 10 am – 12 noon, these relaxed sessions are a great opportunity to get started or take your research further.
Richard will be on hand to help you navigate Ancestry.com, offering guidance, tips, and practical advice to help you trace your family tree and uncover fascinating details about your past. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have already started your research, you’ll find a welcoming and supportive environment to learn at your own pace.
The library provides two computers for use during the session, so you can dive straight into your research. All you need is a library card—if you don’t have one yet, simply pop into the library and sign up for free membership.
Come along, ask questions, share discoveries, and start bringing your family history to life.
