Cecil Sharp’s Quantocks
Art Evening
An evening celebrating the great folk-music collector, Cecil Sharp, who began his pioneering work on English folk music in Somerset, collecting many pieces from the Quantock area.
Local folk performer Paul Upton introduces us to Cecil Sharp, and then joins Watchet folk duo Candelford, and singers John Hartoch and Jackie Macbeth, to ensure an informative and entertaining evening with a distinctly local flavour.
